Bogue's Alley Owner Wants Streetlight Fixed

Light in front of Pawcatuck Deli has been out for two years

The streetlight outside Bogue's Alley on West Broad Street in Pawcatuck "hasn't been lit in two years," said deli owner Jenn Bogue to The Westerly Sun, and she wants it fixed.

Last week CL&P installed a temporary streetlight, but it's not powerful enough to help the problem, the article said.

According to the report, a spokesperson for CL&P explained that a replacement has been ordered and will be installed as soon as possible.

There also used to be a street light on Gravel St by the municiple parking lot before all of the construction started. When they replace a pole, the street light was not re-installed. Now the block is extremely dark. This is not wise considering how many people park on Gravel St and then walk to restaurants, stores and bars on Main St. Also , since there is still construction in the area, the street, sidewalks, etc are uneven. I reported this to someone in the Town of Groton but it has not been rectified.
