Westerly, Rhode Island, December 9th & 10th — Come and celebrate the beginning of the Holiday Season with the Artists and Friends of Above Elite Studios. Doors will open on Friday, December 9th from 5:30–9:00 p.m. with a special performance by Providence singer/songwriter, Evan St. Martin. The family friendly festivities will continue on Saturday, Dec. 10th from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. This JOLLY 2-day open studio celebration will take place at Above Elite Studios (over the Elite Dry Cleaners) – 181 Main Street ,Westerly , Rhode Island.

Featured will be work by resident artists Laura Gaffke, Millie Donovan and Maria Scaglione along with guest artists Kathy Johnson, Sarah Martin, Juli Rankin Mancini, Jaclyn Altieri Murphy, Ian Newbury and Diana Sartor.

Proudly on display will be selected works by residents of Neuro Restorative of Charlestown, Rhode Island. This group of 8 artists, instructed by Sarah Martin, have been learning print making techniques as a way of challenging their physical and cognitive abilities. All residents of Neuro Restorative are recovering from traumatic brain injuries and other neurological challenges. The supervision and goal-driven activities offered through the program empower the participants to lead more independent lifestyles.

Attendees will enjoy a magnificent and affordable collection of works in watercolors, oil, acrylics, mixed-media, photography, and jewelry.
