Putting The 'Dock' Back In Skipper's Dock
Boaters will be able to tie up soon and grab that lobster dinner!
Repairs are being made to the signature dock behind Skipper's Dock restaurant in Stonington Village.
The dock was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy's huge storm surge last October.
Skipper's owner Ainslie Turner said the new dock will not be as long as the old one.
This is Skipper's last season. Turner's lease has not been renewed and the iconic restaurant will close for good on Oct. 31.
