Week in Review: Where Do We Start? Whoa!

What a week this was!

By Ellyn Santiago

This week in news has been wild! Seriously, what a week!

First it was Taylor versus the Giant Shark  (who won?)

Next up, the referendum. The turnout was, well 18 percent. Some say low, some say respectable. The budget passes by more than 2 to 1 in a referendum.

Skipper’s Dock owner announces the longtime restaurant's closing; and we hear a little bit about property owner Bill Griffin’s plan.

The BIG news: the Stonington High School Chamber Choir knows what love is! And won the right to sing with Foreigner at Foxwoods Sunday night.

The Mystic Drawbridge, after ‘three winters’ is just about thisclose to done.

Sad to say goodbye to Wise Owl Toys in Westerly.

Plus, a one-flippered dolphin, prom duds and meet the Class of 2013 Valedictorian and Salutatorian!
