Pawcatuck Little League Girls Softball (11-12 year olds)

Holly Bousquet pitched Elmridge Golf Course to victory as they defeated Mastro Electric 16-8 to wrap up the regular season Friday evening in Pawcatuck.  Bousquet pitched her best game of the season as she went the distance for a complete game.  She struck out a season high 15 batters.

Kailey Jones led Elmridge's offensive attack by going 3-for-4 with a double and 2 singles.  Penelope Knowles and Tatianna Boyce both had 2 hits apiece.  In addition, Bousquet, Karli Tavares, Emma Miller and Alyssa Perez hit singles for the Elmridge cause.

Rhianna Maynard crushed a double and laced a single to lead the way for Mastro Electric.  Grace McCarthy hit a single for their only other hit.

Abygail Blanchard and Emma Miller were the defensive standouts of the game.  Mastro's Blanchard made a head's up catch to snare a foul ball and she gunned down 2 would-be base stealers.  Miller showed off her strong arm throughout the game as the shortstop anchored Elmridge's infield.

Elmridge improves their record to 7-3-1
