Pawcatuck Little League Sign-Ups

The Pawcatuck Little League, one of the premier all-volunteer Little League organizations in New England, is holding signups for the 2011 season on Sunday, Feb. 6, and Sunday, March 6, from noon to 3 p.m. at the Pawcatuck Middle School cafeteria. 

Registration is for Little League baseball and softball (boys ages 5 to 12; girls ages 5 to 16) and Babe Ruth baseball (boys ages 13 to 15). Fee is $65 per child ($60 for T-Ball), with a maximum of $15o per family.

To participate in T-Ball, boys must turn 5 before May 1, 2011, and girls must have turned 5 before Jan. 1, 2011. All first-time participants must show proof of birth and residency at time of sign-up in order to register.

Tryouts for all age groups except T-Ball are scheduled for Saturday, March 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gymnasium at Stonington High School.

Volunteers are needed to coach, work in the concession stand and help groom the fields.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
