Precision Fitness Adds Russian Kettlebell Instructor Kari Syme to Its Team

Precision Fitness is proud to announce the addition of Kari Syme to its stable of fitness specialists as their new Russian Kettlebell Instructor.

Kari specializes in kettlebell training, with a strong focus on injury prevention, corrective movements, and performance enhancement.  She is an RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) certified instructor.

The RKC Certification is the gold standard in kettlebell training.  Kettlebells are basically cannonballs with handles that have the almost magical ability to strip off unwanted fat and build lean muscle.  Athletes get a competitive edge that is almost guaranteed by proper kettlebell training.  Kettlebells also have the uncanny ability to rehab injuries, in particular, back and shoulder injuries.

Kari also holds a Training for Warriors Level I certification, a Certified Fitness Trainer through ISSA, a Performance
Enhancement Specialist
through NASM, and she is certified by the National Association of Speed & Explosion. She is also finishing up a graduate degree in Exercise Science this summer.

Kari has seen the transformative power of being healthy and active, as well as the consequences of inactivity and an unhealthy lifestyle. She loves to show people how great they can feel and how much improvement they can see in their lives if they commit to changing their health and fitness habits.

Kari is passionate about helping people lead healthy lives.  In her own personal training, she focuses on kettlebell and body weight strength and conditioning, as well as traditional strength training, yoga, swimming, cycling, and running. She has a great deal of experience in distance running, both as a cross country team member and
training on her own to complete the Akron Marathon. She also does tribal and gothic belly dance for fun and has experience with martial arts.

Kari will be starting a kettlebell class Starting June 19th.  It will run Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6 pm.  She will also offer a 9 am class Tuesdays and Thursdays as well.

To contact Kari, call 401-489-0551 or email her at kasyme@gmail.com.
