Thank You Stonington Teens !

Last Saturday July 16, Jim Cerino organized a Car Wash for ALS fundraiser.  Jim's dad died from ALS (aka Lou Gehrig's disease) in 2007 when Jim was in 7th grade.  Jim wanted to help donate funds to the ALS Associations and has been attending meetings for the planning of the Stonington Walk for ALS.

The car wash was a HUGE success - THANK  YOU to all the Stonington High School and Middle School kids who showed up and WORKED so hard all day !!  It was a HOT and sunny day, and the kids never stopped working and barely took any breaks for water along the way !  The kids earned over $900 to donate to the Stonington Walk for ALS (on Sat. July 30 at 10am in the Stonington Borough) and all proceeds go to help families affected by ALS. THANK YOU !!!!

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.
