Memorial scholarships are available through the General Federation of Women's Clubs of Connecticut to qualified Connecticut women pursuing higher education.
Applicants for the Phipps Scholarship must have completed two or more years at an institution of higher learning toward a bachelor's or other advanced degree, maintaining a 3.0 or better grade point average.
Applicants for the Dorothy Schoelzel Memorial Scholarship must have completed three years at an accredited institution of higher learning, enrolled in a bachelor's, post-graduate, or return-to-college program, maintaining a 3.0 or higher grad point average. This scholarship is limited to those targeting a degree in the field of education.
