Frozen Locks!

If you are going out to frozen locks this morning the best tool is a lock de-icer that can be bought at your local hardware store. Most do not keep on hand so using a hair dryer works great, warming the key slightly in your hands and I prefer using a Teflon based lubricant. We use a product called GT85. This helps displace the moisture within the lock cylinder. If all you have on hand is WD40 this will also do the trick but in the long run it's more harmful for your lock!
