Daily Five: Bank Square Books Book Club

1. recently announced they are starting a new non-fiction book group. The first meeting will take place Thursday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at StoneRidge. The first book they will discuss will be the Londoners by Craig Taylor.

2. The  has a couple of big events coming up. takes place this Friday at 6 p.m. Authors Dr. Michael C. White and Patricia Mitchell Stamm will be attending. Tickets are $30 per person and are available at the Library’s Circulation Desk or by sending a check to The Mystic & Noank Library, 40 Library Street, Mystic, CT 06355. The library is also seeking volunteers for their April 14, 2012 Volunteer Work Day. The library needs volunteers willing to do all types of labor from 9 a.m. to noon. You can sign up to volunteer at the library circulation desk.
