1. Stonington Public School students have an early dismissal today. The early dismissal schedule is:

High School: 11:45 a.m.

Middle Schools 12:25 p.m.

Elementary Schools 1:10 p.m.

A.M. Preschool 10:55 a.m.

2. Wednesday means it’s at The Savin Rock Roasting Company in Mystic. The hosts karaoke every Wednesday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

3. Learn how to for $10.The Social Society Froshinn is hosting an Absolute Beginners class at 8:30 p.m.

4. The first issue of Life magazine was published on November 23, 1936. Can anyone guess what the cover photo was?

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
