Daily Five: Sign Up For Fall Ball

Five things to know for Monday, July 30, 2012

 

1. sign-ups take place today at the PLL Pavilion from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration is $40 per child. There will be an 8-10-year-old division and a 11-12-year-old division. 2. The meets today at noon at the . The club is always seeking new members. If you can’t make the meeting but are interested in becoming a member the Mystic Rotary meets every Monday or contact Laureen Morley at 860-608-9967 or newlaurs@snet.com.

3. Patch sites in southeastern Connecticut and across the country are looking for local Republicans and Democrats who are politically knowledgeable and are involved in their communities to become a part of political surveys launched in Patch towns across the country.

If you agree to join, Patch will survey you for your opinion on the issues that matter to your party, and the results will be reported on Patches across the county.

Your answers to any questions we ask will be anonymous. We will identify you as one of our list of Power Outsiders across southeastern Connecticut, but your personal answers will in no way be traceable back to you.

The surveys will arrive via email and consist of about 5 questions. If you would like to participate email bree.shirvell@patch.com.

4. Grab yourself a slice of cheesecake, because today is National Cheesecake Day. If you feel like taking a drive to a Cheesecake Factory in Providence or West Hartford the restaurant is celebrating with half-price slices.
