1. Head over to the this afternoon and pick up some fresh local vegetables and fruits from the Mystic Farmers Market.

2. It’s time to shape up for summer so head to the at 6 p.m. for . Weekly on Tuesdays a group will gather for a 3.3-mile run/walk through the borough.  

3. Did you make it to the event at last weekend? Patch Photographer Juli Mancini did so stop back later this morning for a photo gallery of the event.

4. Continuing with the drive-thru history, on this day in 1962, Switzerland opened its first drive-thru bank. Does anyone know what country the first drive-thru bank was opened in?

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
