People can continue to sign the card at First United Methodist Church in Mystic from 6 to 7 PM

Members of the First United Methodist Church in Mystic signed a card Sunday for the people of Sandy Hook. People will have the opportunity to sign the card again today, from 6 to 7 p.m.  at the church at 23 Willow St. in Mystic. The card will be given to the United Methodist Church in Sandy Hook.

First United Methodist Church in Mystic events the community to attend a free discussion after the card signing. Below is information about that presentation.

“Christmas in the Darkest Night and Brightest Day”


Dr. Roy Ciampa will give a refreshing look at the nativity in our second Lecture Discussion for 2012-2013.
 
Dr. Ciampa, Professor of New Testament at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary is a native New Englander who came to Gordon-Conwell after 12 years of cross-cultural experience, having taught at two different theological schools in Portugal, where he also collaborated with the Bible Society in the revision of its contemporary translation of the Bible. He is an ordained minister and serves on the Board of Overseeing Elders at Grace Chapel in Lexington, MA.
