Photos: Mystic Farmers Market Opens For The Season
The Mystic Farmers Market is open Tuesday afternoons until November.
The Mystic Farmers Market celebrated its first day of the 2012 season on Tuesday. As raindrops fell at the local producers including Highland Thistle Farm LLC from Canterbury, Conn., and Two Dogs Baking Company from Stonington set up fresh bread and vegetables under tents.
The Mystic Farmers Market is open every Tuesday from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Quiambaug Firehouse located at 50 Old Stonington Road.

On Saturday, May 5, the Stonington Village Farmers Market begins the first day of their 2012 outdoor season. The Stonington Village Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon near the town docks. According to their Facebook page, there will be lettuces, arugula, herbs and more at the market.
