Stonington Borough 4th of July Parade

Annual parade and reading of the Declaration of Independence went off under sunny skies!

The 4th of July dawned wet and muggy, but Mother Nature loves the borough's annual parade and reading of the Declaration of Independence, and so she had the sun come out just in time for the 10 a.m., step off from Wadawanuck Square.

Turnout may have been slightly lower than usual because of the morning's rain, but it was still a very patriotic group, including lots of dogs decked in the red, white and blue.

Please share your photos from the day as well - parade, picnic, day at Sandy Point - we'd love to see them!
