Storm Shuts Down Stonington Government, Schools Friday
The transfer station will be closed and trash pickup suspended early Friday. And North Stonington schools are also closed Friday.
Stonington First Selectman Edward Haberek just posted that Stonington government offices will be closed Friday.
Haberek also confirmed that Stonington schools will be closed Friday.
And, he said the Transfer Station will be closed Friday and there will be no trash pickup until at the earliest late Friday or Saturday morning.
Haberek also reported that the town's emergency management team has met.
We have also just learned North Stonington schools will be closed Friday as well.
