The Amazing Race, 8 p.m., CBS
So last week was one of those episodes in which I am driven insane by the producer manipulation of the show. Bunch-ups. Non-eliminations (really? Again already?). I mean, come on. Play the game, race the race, and let the chips fall where they may. I do love how the Snowboarding Duds have emerged as veritable Race SuperHeroes. No matter the task, they fly through it. “And now we can bring the wives!” they said after Phil gave them each 5K. But the Dumb Blondes should’ve gone home. Five hours to put up beach umbrellas? Come on! Tonight, Bangkok, elephants, and a Speed Bump for the Dizzy Broads.
The Good Wife, 9 p.m., CBS
I hope Cuddy is gone for good—that character was about as grating as I have ever come across. I did love Diane’s crisis of conscience last week. They do a good job of injecting humanity into these folks exactly when they need to keep us engaged.
Once Upon A Time, 8 p.m., ABC
So … the heroine may or may not be the long-lost daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming and the town in New England named Storybrooke may or may not be under a curse by the Evil Queen … I don’t know. This seems weird. What is it with fairy tales this season? NBC’s Grimm comes out soon too.
