Every June CT Master Gardener Sue Vincent offers thriving plants from her gardens in Mystic.  Sue has an avid following who come to find unusual daylilies, hostas, alpines, small shrubs and prerennials that flourish in SE CT.

All proceeds go to the Lara Vincent Prize for Original Research at Boston University, awarded each year to the leading student in Marine Science.  2Lt Lara Vincent lived in Mystic before becoming an officer of the US marines.  In 1998 she died on duty in an aviation mishap.

LOCATION: 1 New London Road at Water Street, across from Oyster Club and the Emporium.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
