Wednesday, August 8th, at 5 p.m., Westerly Public Library is pleased to participate in the Rhode Island Film Festival! We will be screening a collection of award-winning short films, selected by the International Cinematographer’s Guild as winners of the 2011 Emerging Cinematographer Awards. These awards nurture talent and give promising cinematographers the crucial exposure they need to succeed in the Motion Picture Industry.
Films to be screened include: Applebox; Spring of Sorrow; Numb; Not Your Time; Dead Grass, Dry Roots; Somewhere Else; Absaroka; and String Theory. Also included will be the two short films that won an Honorable Mention: 8 For Infinity and Little Candy Hearts.
