Sunken Garden Poetry Festival: Tony Hoagland

Sink in to the magic of the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival at Hill-Stead Museum. The summer poetry event continues on August 1st, featuring poet Tony Hoagland! The festivities begin at 5:00 in the Makeshift Theater with a prelude by both Tony Hoagland and Michael Cervas. After that, Ed Fast and the Conga Bop will be playing music in the sunken garden at 6:15, followed by poetry from Tony Hoagland at 7:30. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, food and wine and enjoy the beauty of the Sunken Garden Poetry Festival. Food and drinks are also available for purchase on site. Handicap parking, access and restrooms available also. Gates open at 4:30pm. $5 per person. Tent on site in case of rain. Visit www.sunkengardenpoetry.org for more information.

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
