Tree Lighting Ceremony in North Stonington

Artist Juli Mancini with the help of local resident Andrea Willets, created a completely green North Stonington Christmas Tree. They created a tree filled with handmade ornaments made with local, natural and organic materials all with a budget of $30. The tree skirt is comprised completely of multi-textural mosses lined with a star configured twig border.   The events start at the Wheeler Library 4-6pm  Sunday, Dec. 5, followed by the tree lighting ceremony in the village green.
