Hygienic Art Puts Out Call To Photographers In Juried Exhibition

Submissions welcome for "The f-Stops Here"

Photographers in the region are invited to submit their best work to The f-Stops here, an annual juried exhibition at Hygienic Art.

The gallery will receive works between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 16. Up to three pieces may be submitted, with an entry fee of $15 for a single entry, $25 for two entries, and $35 for three entries. The show will open with a reception from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Feb. 23, and the display will be up through March 16.

This marks the third year of the show. David Madasci, co-founder and associate curator of the Alexy von Schlippe Gallery of Art at the University of Connecticut at Avery Point, will be a guest juror. Ted Hendrickson, a photographer and associate professor of art at Connecticut College, will curate the pieces selected for the show. Cash prizes will be awarded.
