From Best Team Spirit to People's Choice read on to see who won what!

The chafing dishes are put away, the tents are rolled up, the beer truck has left the parking lot – the Taste of Mystic once again fulfilled its mission this weekend by providing thousands of visitors with lots of tasty bites of terrific dishes.

In addition to the fun, there was lots of judging going on!

Official Taste judges were Susette Tibus from , Assist. Chief Tony Manfredi from the Hoxie Fire Department and Capt. Jerry Desmond from the . They decided:

On the Spot Catering wins Best Dessert with their key lime pie.

Chef of All Trades wins Best Decorated.

wins Best Team Spirit.

wins Best New Participant.

wins Most Creative for their Dragon Chowder.

wins Best Vegetarian.

The People’s Choice award, done this year via texting for the first time and sponsored exclusively by Patch, brought the following results:

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
