Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce Makes a Move

Executive offices are moving but Welcome Center remains open

From a Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce press release:

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the relocation of their executive offices. In January the operation will be moved to 12 Roosevelt Ave., Mystic.

The Welcome Center at the Mystic Depot will continue to be managed by the chamber and will remain open with limited hour’s mid-week and regular business hours on weekends through February. Beginning in March, the Welcome Center will return to regular business hours through the summer months to help assist visitors with tourist information.

“We are very excited about this new opportunity for the chamber,” said President Tricia Walsh. “We have enjoyed our time at the Depot; however, we have simply outgrown our offices there. Our new location will afford our staff much-needed space.”

Over the last several years, due to the successes of the Chamber and the changing business climate, key positions have been added to bolster the services offered to membership and the community.

“While we are excited about the move, we remain solidly committed to the tourism needs in the community,” Walsh said. “We will continue to offer visitor information in both locations.”

Members and the community at large are invited to visit the new Chamber offices at 12 Roosevelt Ave., Mystic in the New Year.
