Restaurant To Open In Waterford Commons; Will Give Away Free Queso

Moe’s Southwest Grill, an Atlanta-based chain offering burritos and other southwest fare, is opening a new location on Thursday in the Waterford Commons, according to a company press release.

“Waterford is an active community, and I think that the families and professionals here will embrace a refreshing new dining-out option that is simple, unique and delicious,” Franschisee Matt Rusconi said in the release. “ I believe that the variety of fresh food options and laid-back atmosphere at Moe’s will suit the people here well.”

All customers will receive a free bowl of queso all day Thursday as part of the grand opening celebration, according to the release. The store will be open every day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

About Moe’s

Signature meals at Moe’s Southwest Grill include the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, according to the release. All meals are served with free chips and salsa, according to the release.

Tuesdays are Kid’s Eat Free Day from 4 p.m. until close with the purchase of an adult entrée, according to the release. The number for the restaurant is 860-574-9059, and the address is 909 Hartford Turnpike.
