Outdoor Seating Approved For Pawcatuck And Mystic

The Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission approved outdoor patio seating for McDonalds in Pawcatuck and Wide World of Bagels in Mystic.

 

Al fresco dinning lovers are about to get two new outdoor eating options in Pawcatuck and Mystic.

The Stonington Planning and Zoning Commission approved applications for outdoor patio seating at the McDonald's in Pawcatuck and in Mystic at the commission’s Tuesday, June 19, meeting.

McDonald's located on Voluntown Road near and is set to open in mid-July. The Planning and Zoning Commission approved a permit for outdoor patio seating for 24 seats. The restaurant, which will have several eco-friendly elements, .

The commission also approved outdoor patio seating for Wide World of Bagels in Mystic. The restaurant, which , will establish outdoor patio seating for nine. The outdoor seating will give Wide World of Bagels a total of 26 seats inside and out. To create the outdoor seating the restaurant may take one parking spot away, and relocate one handicap parking space.

Planning and Zoning Commission members said they approve of adding outdoor dining when possible as long the outdoor seating also ensures the safety of the patrons.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
