Field of Screams is the Scariest By Far!

Field of Screams offers folks a Haunted Insane Asylum, Haunted Hayride, and 4-D Clown House.

As the prospect of Hurricane Sandy comes closer to Connecticut, the time to visiting haunted houses this Halloween might be shorter than we thought! You don’t want to miss the Field of Screams in West Greenwich, the scariest of them all.

The Haunted Insane Asylum featured a number of characters and scenes that were a mix of scary and gory. Several actors blended into the scenery and would suddenly jump out at you. You could see others from afar but were uncertain when they would make their voices heard. The locked creature behind the bars struck the bars so hard it caused them to spark!

I enjoyed the small drama skits by creepy creatures that we watched from the Dead River Haunted Hayride, which ironically featured no hay but was driven by a tractor. Some of the creatures came aboard including two with chainsaws! We also witnessed a beheading, a warning to not go into the river, and a mad circus master and a clown before entering the 4-D Cirque Du Souls.

The clown house featured a number of cool looking props and of course, many clowns. There were sections where the floor moved.

There were even creatures that greeted us, including large groundhog statues, on the way from the 4-D Cirque Du Souls back to the parking lot.

The Field of Screams features little strobe light and no tunnels forcing people to get on their hands and knees.

It’s important to note that none of the actors will touch you and they expect you not to touch them. You will not get wet during Field of Screams either.
