Salutations! My name is Emily Erquhart (formally Miss Emily Hull to some) and I will be blogging about the exciting things going on during the 2013-14 season at The School of Mystic Ballet!
Mystic Ballet Company is fortunate to have their own blogger, Morgan Beckwith, so we only thought it fitting that The School have the same benefit. I jumped at the chance to do this, having been a student myself from 1997-2003. As a student and a teacher, I was fortunate to receive excellent training, discipline and exposure to many different cultures and forms of dance. Still 10 years later, as a wife and mother of 3, I deem it so necessary that I am sending my own 7 year old to obtain the same benefit. And what a year for her to start! Brand new to the school this year....
Auditions will be held, open to The School, for the chance to perform with Mystic Ballet Company in this years Nutcracker Spectacular!
The performance will be held at Fox Theater, Foxwoods Casino the first three weekends in December.
I look forward to spending time inside The School once again and bringing to light all of the life and artistic synergy present at The School of Mystic Ballet!Speak to you soon! Cheers!
