1500 People In Groton And Stonington Without Power

Connecticut Light & Power isn't sure when power will be restored.

 

Connecticut Light & Power is reporting that about 1500 customers in Groton and Stonington are without power.

According to CL&P spokesperson Mitch Gross the outages occurred at about 4 p.m. Gross said the majority of customers affected appear to be in the Groton area.

on Willow Street in Mystic said they keep losing and regaining power.

"Just talked to @ctlightandpower and they said 1500 customers are out until about 7:30 tonight," Easymeeting Expert said on Twitter.

CL&P told Stonington-Mystic Patch they did not have an estimate on when power would be restored.
