COMO Director Jim Truscio Takes Leave Of Absence

Noreen Kepple named Interim Director in his absence.

Director Jim Truscio announced he was taking a leave of absence from the COMO Tuesday morning.

In his absence Noreen Kepple will serve as Interim Director. Kepple said the COMO is operating as normal and summer camp and other summer activities will go on as planned. She was not sure how long Truscio would be gone.

On the Stonington Printmakers Society Facebook page a message was posted shortly before 11 a.m. stating, “Jim has resigned at the como.  I will meet with the interim director Noreen Kepple and with Joe the educational leader. No SPS meeting for now.”

Kepple said she was not told Truscio had resigned but that he was taking a personal leave of absence.

Truscio has served as the COMO Director since late 2006.
