Tip A Teacher, Equine Rescue, Central Hall Block

1. It’s t at Pizza Place in Westerly. From 5 to 8 p.m. the teachers and principal of will be the waiters and waitresses. All of the tips are being donated to the eighth grade graduation celebration. Doesn’t your teacher deserve a tip?

2. Stop by Mystic’s Harp and Hound between 6 and 9 p.m. for . Beech Brook Farm is an equine rescue organization in Mystic. In 2010, they saved 29 horses from slaughter and neglect. Nineteen of those horses have found new homes.

3. In less than a week, it will be 11 years since a fire burned down the Central Hall Block in Mystic. What do you remember about the now vacant lot or are you so young you've never known anything else?
