Flood Watch Issued

A Flood Watch Is In Effect Throughout Monday Feb. 28

With rain expected to continue throughout the day Monday, the National Weather Service has issued a flood watch from 10 a.m. to late tonight. Here is the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Periods of rain, with thunderstorms also possible after 1 p.m. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. High near 46. Breezy, with a east wind 13 to 23 mph becoming southwest. Winds could gust as high as 37 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight: Rain showers, possibly mixing with snow after 2 a.m, then gradually ending. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 31. Southwest wind 11 to 18 mph becoming northwest. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 39. Breezy, with a north wind between 11 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 34 mph.

Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind between 8 and 15 mph.
