Mystic Garden Club Donates to Mystic & Noank Library

Five Things To Know For Tuesday, July 17, 2012

 

1.  The Mystic Garden recently donated a total of $8,000 to the . The garden club donated $2,500 in proceeds from their Plant Sale during the June Mystic & Noank Library Fair and also gave the library $5,500 to create an outside patio and seating area.  

2. Take a knife skills class from tonight from 5 to 6 p.m. Attendees will learn the basics of using knives to prepare a meal and practice with a sample appetizer.

3. Buy your tickets for the ’s Treworgy Planetarium viewing. On select Fridays at 8:30 p.m. the planetarium will host a lecture on a specific topic and then if weather permits there will be an outdoor observation sessions using the planetarium telescopes. Friday, July 20 is Milankovitch Cycle and the Earth’s Climate

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. GunRead More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.

The unions are in support and wrote this bill with a couple of state representatives. Council 4 ofRead More AFSCME is fighting for this bill to pass for all those that work hard in the State of Connecticut. Any support would be great. Thank you.

my letter will be off monday,i am in total support of this bill. after working your whole life oneRead More should be able to retire with dignity and enjoy your last years. if the unions in the state can work with you for the passage of this bill, this bill SB 54 WILL PASS.
