Shoppers strolled the pathways of the Olde Mistick Village on a recent afternoon, many in search of the perfect gifts for the people on their holiday shopping lists. Inside the stores, employees put the finishing touches on holiday decorations, answered customers’ questions and a few shared their favorite things about the holidays.
“My favorite thing about Christmas is the time I get to spend with my family,” Lynne Price of Elizabeth & Harriet said.
Family and food topped the list of things people at Elizabeth & Harriet, Gray Goose Cookery, Angel Haven, Franklin's General Store and Semolina Pasta Shop love about Christmas.
