The sixth season of at White Gate Farm in East Lyme wrapped up on Sunday evening.
Over the past two weeks Dinners at Farm held six dinners at White Gate Farm, which husband and wife team Pauline Lord and David Harlow run.
In August, Dinners at the Farm moves to Barberry Hill Farm in Madison for six dinners, four of which are already sold out. The organization will finish up its 2012 season in September at Scott’s Farm & Greenhouses in Essex.
Patrons pay a fee for a seven-course meal that includes wine and a tour of the farm with a portion of the ticket price donated to beneficiaries. The beneficiaries this year are Connecticut Farmland Trust, Working Lands Alliance, Market, Stanton and new this year CT Region 4 School Kitchens.
