Police Searching For Burglary Suspect

The Stonington Police Department is asking the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect.

The man is suspected of a burglary that occurred in Pawcatuck on Nov. 1, 2012. Police described him as a white male with a dark complexion, approximately 35-years-old, 6 feet 2 inches, 190-200 pounds with dark hair with a shaved bald head.

Police ask that anyone with information on this suspect contact Stonington Police Sergeant William Morrison, Officer Christopher Murray or the detective division at 860-599-411.

While I'm all for the values that the Ten Commandments gives us, I also don't want to be defenseless…Read More because someone who chooses not to follow them is putting my life in danger. The Right to Bear Arms was created by men, for the purpose of the people of this country having a means to defend ourselves from people who mean us harm, or from a government who might seek to take away our arms for nefarious purposes. A very great man once said, "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend with my life your right to say it." Just out of curiosity, if someone were to invade your home, and attack you and your family, putting your lives in danger, what would you be willing to do to defend your lives?

I agree. The bottom line is we're all defenseless if we are deprived of our right to bear arms. Gun…Read More restrictions do nothing to prevent criminals from getting and using guns. They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.
