Workers began rebuilding the inside of the Regional Office of the Probate Court in Groton Town Hall last week. Electric and phone lines were installed on Tuesday, work stations went in Wednesday, and the judge’s chambers will be worked on Thursday. Chief Clerk Carolyn Bessette said the judge’s chambers used to look like an office, so people will notice the remodeling.
“This is actually going to look like a judge’s chambers,” she said. “It’s going to be totally different.”
