Stonington-Mystic Patch users spent the past week debating the best , and Mel’s Downtown Creamery was the overwhelming winner.
Mel’s Downtown Creamery captured 67 percent of the more than 200 votes cast in the Ice Cream Food Fight. The ice cream parlor is a favorite both for the ice cream and the employees.
“Mel's Downtown Creamery is awesome,” Stonington-Mystic Patch User said. “The service is amazing...the owners are friendly and serve with a smile. The ice cream is delicious and the amount you get for the small price you pay is HUGE.”
And Stonington-Mystic Patch User added, “I have already written a 5 star review of Mel's for Patch, but can't resist restating my strong endorsement of not only the great ice cream and yogurt, but also the wonderful service and fantastic friendly atmosphere that Mel and her husband have created at the Creamery. You won't be disappointed!”
