Residents in low-lying areas strongly encouraged to evacuate.

Stonington Public School students will not have school on Monday and Tuesday due to Hurricane Sandy.

There will also be no trash-pick up on Monday and Tuesday. The landfill is open to 1 p.m., today, Sunday, Oct. 28.
