I don’t know about you, but I’m over this crazy weather. It’s either very hot or unusually cool. I do love a and was a little disappointed we didn’t see the weather parts of New York and Connecticut did during the week, but at least we didn’t lose power.

One weather thing I did learn this week though is that it always rains on the last night of , which explains why for the past two years I’ve ate dinner in at the farm. It was still a wonderful event though, with seafood from Stonington and some of the proceeds going to Stanton Davis Homestead.
