This week hundreds of residents attended two public hearings on a proposed plan to build a development near the intersection of Mary Hall and Greenhaven roads in Pawcatuck. The meetings stretched into the early hours of the morning as most but not all of those in attendance voiced their opposition to the plan. Residents once again packed into the town dock’s meeting room to discuss the near the Wastewater treatment facility. All of those in attendance including the members of the Waterfront Commission voiced their support for the park but some neighbors are not happy with the park being used as an off-leash area for canines.
