The Super Bowl is just a week away and Patch spent part of last week getting ready. For all of you planning your own Super Bowl party don’t miss Clinton Patch Editor Fay Abrahamsson’s special editions of In The Kitchen With Fay. On Thursday she gave us a recipe for , on Friday she had a recipe for Cincinnati Style Chili and on Monday she’ll have a recipe for Chicken and White Bean Chili. Even if you’re not planning a Super Bowl party just reading the recipes will make you want to start cooking.

Not staying at home for Super Bowl? Well, we want to know where you’re planning on going. Specifically, we want to know where is the best sports bar to watch the game in Stonington and Groton? We took nominations in a special edition of Food Fight. Vote on the top nominations until 5 p.m. Monday. Help us decide the next winner of Food Fight.

We didn’t spend the entire week eating though. There were several town meetings throughout the week. On Thursday, the board of education continued their budget workshops and on Wednesday the began to discuss the possibility of the town avoiding a lawsuit.
