Westerly Hospital Candlelight Vigil This Thursday

Deliveries at Westerly Hospital will cease June 1.

A candlelight vigil to support Westerly Hospital is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.

originally, a march was scheduled, but due to the expected cold temperatures, organizers decided on a candlelight vigil. The vigil will begin at Westerly Middle School at 5:15 p.m

Westerly Hospital announced last week that the hospital will stop delivering babies on June 1, 2013. Organizers of the vigil are hoping the walk will result in hospital administrators reconsidering that decision.

They simply impede law-abiding citizens from getting and using them to defend ourselves from the criminals. I don't want to be stuck at a gunfight with nothing more than a cell phone camera.
