Greenhaven Road Update

A resident provided me a great idea yesterday, to update on Facebook, Twitter and other blogs about Greenhaven Road work.

A resident provided me a great idea yesterday, to update on Facebook, Twitter and other blogs about Greenhaven Road work. I am going to provide latest updated information routinely of this critical artery in town.

The Highway Department has scheduled to pave Greenhaven Rd from Rt. 1 to the railroad bridge on Thursday (6/28) and Friday (6/29), weather dependent. We are paving now to try to minimize disturbances to the travelling public over the upcoming holiday next week. When we pave, the road will be open to one way traffic but motorists should expect delays. We are asking that people avoid driving in this area on those days if possible to facilitate getting our work done. We greatly appreciate your understanding as we continue to upgrade roads in our Town.  If residents have any questions with regards to this work, please feel free to call the Highway Department at 860-535-5055.
