Election Turnout Was Slow and Steady

Check out photos of Election Day 2013.

Polling workers across town reported slow but steady voter participation on Election Day 2013. Polling stations were absolutely plastered with campaign signs of all stripes, some with human handlers waving to passersby.

At the Pawcatuck Firehouse early this morning, both candidates for the First Selectman's seat — incumbent Ed Haberek and challenger Glee McAnanly — waved signs along with supporters just outside the 75-foot limit.

No official voter turnout statistics were released Tuesday night.
