Diamonds & Denim: A Fundraiser for the Mystic & Noank Library
The Board of Trustees and volunteers of the Mystic & Noank Library are hosting the second annual gala fundraiser for the Library on Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Hummingbird Hollow Farm in Mystic.
“Diamonds & Denim” is the theme for the fundraiser that takes place in the arena of the new riding stable, Hummingbird Hollow. Guests will be treated to hors d’oeuvres and an elegant barbecue with many vegetarian options, live music, and silent and live auctions featuring travel, gifts and one-of-a-kind experiences. Guests are encouraged to wear denim and boots from the waist down with finery or ruffles from the waist up!
Tickets are $75.00 each and may be purchased at the Mystic & Noank Library, through the website www.mysticnoanklibrary.org, or by calling (860) 572-8191. Sponsorships are available as well. Tickets must be purchased in advance; walk-ins are not allowed. There is no parking at the venue; a free shuttle will be provided from Cutler Middle School.

The Mystic & Noank Library is an association library established in 1893 by Captain Elihu Spicer. It offers public meeting spaces, computers, free WiFi, books, periodicals, movies and programs for pre-readers to senior citizens.
