Earth Day Open House at NESS

All are welcome to come meet the staff, tour the waterfront facilities, and learn about NESS's year-round and summer programs.  Visitors can enjoy fun activities and crafts for kids geared toward environmental stewardship and enhancing awareness of our great ocean resource, Fishers Island Sound.  Children are welcome to explore the creatures in one of NESS's many touch tanks, get their face painted, and check out the science lab, NES's fleet of boats for ocean-related adventure education, and learn about NESS's new programs, including powerboating classes for ages 10 and up.  For more information on programs or to register for a class, please visit http://www.nessf.org/ or contact NESS at 860-535-9362.
