Latitude 41° Restaurant & Tavern will host a special four-course beer dinner Friday, January 25, at 6 p.m. to benefit the Sandy Hook School Support Fund. The United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Savings Bank created the fund to provide services and support to the Newtown and Sandy Hook communities in the wake of December’s tragic school shooting.

All individual donations, as well as 30 percent of the proceeds from the event, will go directly to the fund.
The evening's menu will feature a beer-poached sausage sampler, ale and butternut squash bisque, horseradish encrusted bistro steak, and wild berry pie a la mode. Each course is paired with a different Shipyard Brewing Company beer.

Live music will be provided by The Cartells from 7-10 p.m.
Tickets are $55 per person ($45 per person for members of the restaurant’s Mug Club).  Reservations can be made by calling 860.572.5303.
